Various factors are involved in the contamination of water resources like wastes from factories ,mixing of faecal matter which results in increase in no. of e.coli in water ...!!self awareness is the only way to get rid of it

One of the ways in which we can reduce water pollution is by re using items that can be re used  because they end up being disposed in water bodies.

- Avoid disposing of oils and other chemicals via the sink and other water channels as they will end up in water bodies.

- household waste should be deposited into pit and not in water bodies.

- Avoiding the use of pesticides could reduce the harmful substances that infiltrate to water bodies
