100 W electric bulb is lighted for three hours daily and Four 60 W electric bulbs are lighted for two hours daily calculate the unit of energy consumed in the month of 30 days

we know that

P= work/time

work = power * time

and then calculate the work frst for the 100 watt and then for the 4  sixty watt bulbs and then add the both work ths will be the energy consume in 1 day so u will hav to multiply your ans by 30 to get the energy consumed in 30 days....hope it would hav cleared ur doubt
