-1000 + 0 = -1000

This is like... subtracting "nothing" from (-1000).

Thus, if "nothing" or more particularly zero(0) is subtracted from (-1000) it yields the same number I.e., (-1000).

Answer:

(-1000)+0= -1000

Note:

If zero is added or subtracted from any number the result will be number itself.
