My dear bapu,
How are you? I'm fine and hope the same with you.

I'm writing this letter to you to share my experiences I have when i was in college. College life is the most interesting life. It seems like i've been in in college only for few days and i even don't know till now that 4 years of my college were completed. It's just like a dream for me.
College life gives us the best experience in life. It teaches us how to face obstacles and overcome problems. It teaches us the importance of studies and life. In my college life I've experienced many obstacles and faced them.
Let me share with you one of my experience . These days ragging is very common in colleges. When i was in 1st year my seniors used to do ragging. They used to comment and abuse some of my friends. Then I decided to fight against. Then suddenly I remembered your method of fighting that is non-violence. Then taking inspiration of you I decided to end ragging in my college.
Then, I inspired and motivated all my fellow students and together we decided to end ragging. Next day also the seniors did ragging but to their surprise they found all my friends listening to their words and doing everything according to their wish. They were shocked and pleaded them for their mistake. At that time everyone is very thankful to me. I was very happy at that point of time and realised the power of your non-violence. I thanked you soo much and till today there was no ragging in my college.

Thank you so much bapu

Yours lovingly,
Kavya minnie

Hope it helps u..

Letter to Bapu

Dated 21st February 2022

Dear Bapu,

Today is a special day because I writing a little letter to you. This letter is written with much love and appreciation from my heart.

First, I wish to tell you that your birth anniversary, Gandhi Jayanti, is celebrated by us on October 2 as a national event. This day is observed across the entire world as the International Day of Non-violence. This is the least we can do for your humility and selfless sacrifice.

Dear Bapu, your Salt March from March to April 1930 in India, was an act of civil disobedience to protest the British rule in India. Your Non-cooperation Movement against the British was more powerful than any weapon of war. Your non-violence and satyagraha policy lead India to achieve Independence in August of 1947.

You believed that all human beings are God’s special people and must be treated equally irrespective of their caste, color, language, creed, region, and religion. We will never forget your philosophy of non-violence. You have taught us to remove discrimination from every corner of our Motherland.

Dear Bapu, because of your work for an independent India, we are a free people living in a free country of equality, liberty, and dignity. You are immortal. Your sacrifice and your noble principles will live on from generation to generation. You are my role model and I will always try to follow in your footsteps.

Yours affectionately,

S. JOSEPH

A proud Indian
