10000 = 8000( \frac{1 + r}{100} ) {}^{2}  \\ 10 = 8( \frac{(1 + r) {}^{2} }{10000} ) \\ 50000 = 4(1 + r )  {}^{2} \\ 12500 = (1 + r) {}^{2}  \\  \sqrt{12500}  = 1 + r \\ 50 \sqrt{5}  = 1 + r \\ 50 \sqrt{5}  - 1 = r
