total food= 1000 ×22 = 22000

according question 100 more persons joined,

∴ now total number of persons = 1000 + 100 = 1100

let consider the provision will last for D days for 1100 persons.

∴ 22000 = 1100 × D

D = 22000÷ 1100

D =$\frac{22000}{1100}$ =$20 days$

Ans :- The provision will last for 20 days.
