Given:

100m ×1000m , find the area /hectares

Solution:

Find the area in meter square,

\[\begin{array}{l} = 100 \times 1000\\ = 1,00,000\,{{\rm{m}}^2}\end{array}\]

Know that,

\[1\;{\rm{hetare}} = 10000\,{{\rm{m}}^2}\]

\[ = \frac{{1,00,000}}{{10,000}}\]

=10 hectares

Hence, the 100m ×1000m is equal to 10 hectares.
