We know that for HCl⟶ Molarity= Normality

Gram equivalents of HCl=Normality×Volume

                                            =2N×100×10−3

                                            =0.2eq .

After complete neutralisation

Gram equivalent HCl= Gram equivalents of metal carbonate

Equivalent of metal= Gram equivalent of metalWeight of metal

                                 =0.210=50gm/eq .
