100ml of gas at 27°C is cooled to 10°C at constant pressure. Calculate the volume of the gas at 10°C.​

At constant pressure, Volume is directly proportional to Temperature,

 \frac{v1}{v2}  =  \frac{t1}{t2}  \\  =  \frac{100}{v2}  =  \frac{273 + 27}{273 + 10}  \\  \frac{100}{v2}  =  \frac{300}{283}  \\ 100 \times 283 = v2 \times 300 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: cross \: multiplication \\ 100 \times 283 = v2 \times 300 \\  \\ 2830</em></strong><strong><em> = v2 \times 300 \\ v2 = 94. 3ml
