Hey

Here is your answer,

100x^2 - 20x + 1 = 0
100x^2 - 10x - 10x + 1 = 0
10x ( 10x - 1 ) - 1 ( 10x - 1 ) = 0
(10x -1) ( 10x -1)=0
10x -1=0
X = 1/10
10x-1=0
X = 1/10

Hope it helps you!

100 x ^ 2 - 20 x + 1

= 100 x ^ 2 - 10 x - 10 x + 1

= 10 x ( 10 x - 1 ) - 1 ( 10 x - 1 )

= ( 10 X - 1 ) (10 X - 1 )

X = 1 / 2 , 1/2 Ans.
