Boxes in the 1st truck originally:

= (4/[4 + 5 + 6])(1,077 - 7 - 8 - 12) + 7

= 4/15(1,050) + 7

= 280 + 7

= 287

Boxes in 2nd truck originally:

= 1/3(1,050) + 8

= 350 + 8

= 358

Boxes in the 3rd truck originally:

= 2/5(1,050) + 12

= 420 + 12

= 432

Answer: 287, 358 & 432 boxes, in the 1st, 2nd & 3rd truck, respectively.
