# Given-
P = 10 D

# Solution-
Focal length of lens is calculated by-
f = 1/P
f = 1/10
f = 0.1 m

For maximum angular magnification,
M = u/v

Image is formed at least distance of distinct vision,
v = -25 cm = -0.25 m

Using lens formula,
1/f = 1/u + 1/v
1/0.1 = 1/u + 1/(-0.25)
1/u = 14
u = 0.0714 m = 7.14 cm

Therefore, object should be placed at 7.14 cm to get maximum angular magnification.
