Answer:

The amount of urine produced is regulated by the process of osmoregulation..

This process takes place under the influence of ADH(anti dieuretic hormone ) which is also known as vasopressin...

It makes the walls of the Distal Convulated Tubule permeable.. by which osmoregulation takes place...

Hope it helps you...

heyyaaa...

Que :-

How is the amount of urine produced regulated..???

Ans :-

1. The amount of urine largely depends on the amount of water reabsorbed. The amount of water reabsorbed by nephrone tubule depends on how water in excess is in the body removed.

2. When water is abundant in the body tissues ,large quantities of dilute urine is excreted out.

3. When water is less in quantities in the body tissues ,a small quantity of concentrate urine is excreted.

4. How much dissolved waste ,especialy nitrogenous waste like urea and nitric acid and salts to be excreted from the body.

5. When there is more quantity of dissolved waste in the body ,more quantity of water is required to excrete them.So the amount of urine produced increases.

6. The amount of urine produced is also regulated by certain hormones which control the movement of water and sodium ions into and out of the nephrons.

hope helpful...
