Let the larger angle be x
& the smaller angle be y
according to the question,
Case 1st
x & y are complementary angle,
so,
x+y=90....i
case 2nd
y=x-16.......ii
putting value of y in equation i
x+y=90
x+x-16=90
2x=90+16
2x=106
x=53
putting value of x in equation ii
y=x-16
y=53-16
y=37
larger angle=53
smaller angle=37
