ANSWER 3= A figure of speech is a word or phrase that possesses a separate meaning from its literal definition. It can be a metaphor or simile, designed to make a comparison. It can be the repetition of alliteration or the exaggeration of hyperbole to provide a dramatic effect.
ANSWER 4= Rabindranath Tagore compares dead habit to dreary desert sand in which the stream of reason has lost its way. Dreary desert sand stands for our various superstitions which do not let us apply logic and thus do work blindly according to our superstitions.
