10x² - 14x + 5x - 7 = 0

2x ( 5 x - 7 ) + 1 ( 5x - 7 ) =0

( 2x +1 ) ( 5x - 7 ) =0

Either,

2x + 1 = 0

2x = -1

x = -1 / 2

or,

5x - 7 =0

5x = 7

x = 7 / 5
