Answer:

(3 - 3 {x}^{2} )( {x}^{2}  - 5)

 = 3 {x}^{2}  - 15 - 3 {x}^{4}  + 15 {x}^{2}

 = 18 {x}^{2}  - 3 {x}^{4}  - 15

coefficient \: of \:  {x}^{2}  = 18

Question:-

The co-efficient of x² in (3-3x²)(x²-5)

Solution:-

to find the coefficient simplify the given polynomial we get,

(3-3x²)(x²-5)

use this identity :-(a-b)(c-d)=(a×c-a×d-b×c+b×d) we get:-

(3x²-15-3x+15x²)

(18x²-3x-15)

so coefficient of x² is 18
