Molality of solution = No. of moles of solute / Kg of solvent

No. of moles of urea = 11 / 60 = 0.19

Molality = 0.19 / 0.1 = 0.1 molal

Answer:

Molarity and molality is 1.84

Explanation:

For molarity,

Mass= 11.11g

Volume= 0.1 litre

Molar mass for urea= 60.06 (CH4H2O)

Molarity=(mass/molar mass) /volume

= (11.11/60.06)/0.1

= 1.84

For molality,

Solute=11.11g

solvent= 0.1 kg

Molar mass= 60.06

Molality= (Solute/ molar mass) / Weight of solvent

= (11.11/60.06)/0.1

= 1.84
