2x + 5y - 1  = 0\:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: eq(i) \\ 2x + 3y - 3 = 0 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  eq(ii)

from eq (i) we get

=⟩x =  \frac{1 - 5y}{2}  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: ..eq(iii)

Putting this value in eq (ii)

=⟩2( \frac{ 1 - 5y}{2} ) + 3y = 3

=⟩1 - 5y + 3y = 3

=⟩ - 2y = 2

=⟩y =  - 1

Putting this value in eq ( iii )

=⟩x =   \frac{ 1 - 5( - 1)}{2}

=⟩x =  \frac{1 + 5}{2}

=⟩x =  \frac{6}{2}

=⟩x = 3

Therefore , the value of x is 3 and the value of y is -1
