11. A 6 path runs around the inside of a m wide rectangular lawn, whose length is 110 m and breadth is 80 m. Find the area of the path. If the cost of laying grass in a 1 m2 lawn is Rs 7.50, find the total cost of laying grass in the lawn.

Area of rectangular lawn = l*b
=110*80
=8800m
Length of rectangular lawn with path= (110-6-6)m
= 98m
breadth rectangular lawn with path =(80-6-6)m
=68m
area rectangular lawn with path =l*b
=98*68m =6664m
area of path=8800-6664m
=2136m
cost =7.5*6664m
=49980 rupees
