s-> selling price

c-> cost price

acording to question

s=c + 10% percent of c

s=c+0.1c

s=1.1c ..........(1)

now if the selling price was 99 more then

s+99=c+ 12 percent of c

s+99=c+0.12c .........(2)

putting value of s from eqn 1, in eqn 2

1.1c + 99= c+0.12c

1.1c+99=1.12c

99=.02c

c=99/0.02

c= 4950

so the cost price of cycle is 4950 rupees
