11. A fruit salad recipe requires apples, bananas and grapes. Number of apple pieces is twice the number of banana slices and number of grapes is half of the number of apple pieces. If total fruit pieces are 200, find the number of grapes used in the recipe.​

Let be

banana pieces = x

apple pieces. = 2x

Grapes pieces = 1/2 × 2x

total no. of fruit pieces = 200

therefore ,

apple pieces + banana pieces + grapes = 200

2x + x + (1/2 × 2x) = 200

3x + x = 200

4x = 200

x = 200/4

x = 50

Hence ,

banana pieces = 50

apple pieces. = 2 ×50= 100

grapes pieces = 1/2×100 = 50
