Given :-
- Length of the lawn = 20 m.
- Breadth of the lawn = 7.5 m.
- Dimension of each tile = 3 cm × 2.5 dm.
To Find :-
- Number of tiles required.
Solution :-
Converting metre to cm :-
➡ 20 m
➩ 20 × 100
➩ 2000 cm.
➡ 7.5 m
➩ 7.5 × 100
➩ 750 cm.
Area of the lawn :-
➩ Length × Breadth
➩ 2000 × 750
➩ 1500000 cm².
Area of each tiles :-
