11. A shopkeeper has just enough money to buy 42 cycles worth 220 each. If the cycles were to
cost 400 more, then how many cycles would he be able to buy with that amount of money ?​

Answer:

The shopkeeper has an amount : 220 x 42 = 9240

if the cycles cost 400 more then cost of each cycle = 220+400 = 620

dividing the amount shopkeeper has  by the new cost of each cycle we get 9240 / 620 = 14.9

by rounding we 14

hence shopkeeper can buy 14 cycles at the new cost price
