Given:

  • A snail starts from rest
  • Acceleration of snail = 0.00075 m/s²
  • Speed = 0.0135m/s

To find:

  • Time taken

Solution:

Using the kinematic equation

v = u + at

Where

  • v : final velocity = 0.0135 m/s
  • u : initial velocity = 0 m/s.
  • a : acceleration = 0.00075 m/
  • t : time taken = ?

Here , initial velocity ( u ) = 0 m/s because the snail start from rest

Substituting the values we have

→ 0.0135 = 0 + 0.00075 × t

→ t = 0.0135/0.00075

t 19

Hence, time taken 19 s

Given

  • Initial velocity of snail = 0
  • Acceleration = 0.00075 m/s²
  • Final velocity of snail = 0.0135m/s

Find out

  • Calculate the time taken

Solution

According to the first equation of motion

→ v = u + at

→ 0.0135 = 0 + 0.00075 × t

→ 0.0135 = 0.00075t

→ t = 0.0135/0.00075

→ t = 18 sec

Hence, time taken by snail is 18 sec

Additional Information

  • s = ut + ½ at² {2nd equation of motion}
  • v² = u² + 2as {3rd equation of motion}
