Distance = 300m

Time = 12min = 720sec

Speed = Distance/Time

Speed = 300m/720sec

Speed = 0.41m/s

(a) Speed is already in m/s (0.41m/s)

(b) To convert the speed m/s to km/h,we have to multiply the speed by 18/5

0.41 × 18/5

= 7.38/5

= 1.47km/h
