Hey dear,

◆ Answer-

Total time = 12 hr

◆ Explaination-

# Given-

Journey distance s = 616 km

Train speed v = 112 km/hr

Halting time = 1 hr

# Solution-

Time taken for A=>B,

t = s / v

t = 616 / 112

t = 5.5 hr

Train halts at station B for 1 hr before returning.

Train will take same time i.e. 5.5 hr to return.

Total journey time = 5.5 + 1 + 5.5 = 12 hr

Total time taken by train will be 12 hr.

Hope this helps you...
