The required height of the computer tank is 36 meters.

GIVEN: A water pump can lift 60 kg of water per minute to a tank. If the potential energy of the water is stored is 21.6KJ
TO FIND: The required height of the computer tank
SOLUTION:

As we are given in the question,

Work Done = 21.6 KJ

Work Done = 21.6 * 10³ J

Mass = 60 kg

Gravitation = 10m/s

Time taken = 1 minute

Time Taken = 60 seconds

As we already know,

Work Done = mgh

Substituting the values given in the question,

21.6 * 10³ = 60 * 10 * h

21.6 * 10³  = h

  60 * 10

21.6 * 10¹  = h

  6 * 1

216/6 = h

36 = h

Therefore,

The required height of the water tank will be 36 meters.
