Step-by-step explanation:

K,J,Q,A hearts are removed

so no. of cards remaining = 52-4 =48

1) red face cards among the remaining cards = 4 (diamond K,J,Q, A)

probability of a red face card drawn

= no. of red faces/ total no. of cards

= 4c1/48c1

= 4/48

= 1/12

2)no. queens =3

probability of a queen drawn

= no. of queens/ total number of cards

= 3c1/48c1

= 3/48

= 1/16

3) no. of red cards = 13 diamonds+9 hearts(13-4)=22

probability of drawing a red card

= no. of red cards / no. of total card

= 22c1/48c1 =22/48

= 11/24

4) no. of black cards = 13+13=26

probability of drawing a black card

= no. of black cards/ total number of cards

= 26/48

= 13/24
