Let the cost of flat is x
according to question, (5/8)x + (1/4)x +4,00,000=X
=>x(5/8+1/4)+4,00,000=x
=>(5+2/8)x+4,00,000=x
=>7/8x+4,00,000=x
=>4,00,000=x-7/8x
=>4,00,000=x(1-7/8)
=>4,00,000=(8-7/8)x
=>1/8x=4,00,000
=>x=4,00,000*8=32,00,000
