11. Find the number of zeros of x+4x+ 2

Your answer is :-

Note :- The maximum power of the equation is 1 so that there will be only 1 zero .

 x + 4x + 2 = 0

 5x + 2 = 0

 5x = -2

x = \frac { -2 }{5}\: ( Ans )

hii.. \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: Q. 4x + x + 2 = 0 \\ = > 5x + 2 = 0 \\ = > 5x = - 2 \\ = > x = \frac{ - 2}{5} .. \\ \\ so \: it \: has \: only \: one \: zero \: i.e. \: \frac{ - 2}{5} \\ \\ hope \: this \: helps \: :)
