Answer:

Firstly, : Vertically Opposite angles are equal.

i) y = x/2 and x + y = 180°(linear pair)

so, x + x/2 = 180

3x = 180*2

x = 360/3 = 120°

y = 120/2 = 60°

z = x = 120°

ii) x + 32 + 90 = 180 (angles on a Straight line)

x = 90 - 32 = 58°

iii) x +110 = 180

x = 180 - 110 = 70°

iv) x + 10 + x + 40 = 180

2x = 180 - 50

x = 130/2 = 65°

z = x + 10 = 75°

y = x + 40 = 105°

Step-by-step explanation:

(i) x + x/2 = 180

3x/2 = 180

x = 120

x = z

z = 120

y = x/2

y = 60

(ii) x + 32 + 90 = 180

x + 32 = 90

x = 58

(iii) 4x + 110 = 180

4x = 70

x = 70/4

x = 35/2 or 17.5

(iv) x + 10 + x + 40 = 180

2x + 50 = 180

2x = 130

x = 65

y = x + 40

y = 105

z = x + 10

z = 75

Hope it helps.
