Maximum current through 250 Kohm resistor = √ P / R = √ 1 / 4 x 250 x 10^3

                                           = 1 / 2 x 5 x 100 = 1 mA

Through middle 10 Kohm resistor = √  P / R = √ 1 / 4 x 10 x 10^3

                                                        = 1 / 2 x 100 = 5 mA

Through last 10 Kohm resistor = √ P / R = √ 1 / 10 x 10^3 = 1/100 = 10 mA

So the minimum current out of these three is 1mA, hence the current must not exceed 1 mA current.
