11.

total no of statues= 2880

no. of boxes used for packing = 32

1 box will have =\frac{2880}{32}        =90 statues

18 boxes will have = 90 x 18

                                =1620 statues

thus there will be 1620 statues in 18 boxes.

12.

quantity of petrol he has in his car= 15 L

distance that can be covered with 15 L of petrol = 150 km

(there are 2 methods)

METHOD I

distance that can be covered in 50 L = \frac{150}{15} x\frac{50}{1}

                                                                  =10 x 50 km

                                                                   =500km

METHOD 2

distance travelled in 1L = \frac{150}{15}km

                                       = 10 km

distance travelled in 50 L = 10 x 50

                                         =500

thus, 500km can be travelled in 50L OF PETROL

13.

NO.of girls = 27

time taken to embroider =10 days

1 girl can complete in = 27 x 10 days = 270 days

18 girls can complete the job in =  270÷ 18

                                                   = 15 days

thus,it will take 15 days for 18 girls to complete this work.
