HEY MATE,LET ME HELP YOU WITH YOUR QUERY...

Let the unit digit be 'z' , tens digit be 'y' and hundreds digit be 'x'

∴ 3 digit number is 100x + 10y + z and number after reversing the digits is 100z + 10y + x

It is given that x - z = 3 ------(1)

100x + 10y + z - ( 100z + 10y + x )

= 100x + 10y + z - 100z - 10y - x = 99x - 99z

= 99(x - z)-------(2)

Substituting (1) in (2)

=> 99(3) = 297

∴ Difference between the three  digit number and the number formed by reversing its digits is 297 .
