11. IF (x²y + y2 + 3) is subtracted from (3x+y + 2y² + 5), then write the coefficient ofy in the result.​

Given equation :-

$x^{2} y+y^{2}+3$

Equation that has to be subtracted :-

$3x+y+2y^{2}+5$

Net equation after subtraction :-

$x^{2} y+y^{2}+3-(3x+y+2y^{2}+5)$

= $x^{2} y+y^{2}+3-3x-y-2y^{2}-5)$

= $x^{2} y-y^{2}+-y-3x-2$

= $(x^{2}-1) y-y^{2}-3x-2$

Clearly, the coefficient of y in the above equation is $x^{2} -1$
