So,

Total salary of 30 officers = 30 X 120 = 3600rs

Total salary of x labourers = 40 x X =40x

Total salary of firm = 50(30+x)

Total salary of firm = total salary of 30 officers + total salary of x labourers

50(30+x) = 3600 + 40x

1500 + 50x = 3600 + 40x

10x = 2100

x = 210
