At VK, there is no net movement of K+ across the membrane. Similarly, if there are only Na+ channels in the cell (and are open), at equilibrium, Vm = Vrest = VNa. If there are only Cl− channels in the cell (and are open), at equilibrium, Vm = Vrest = VCl.
