First of all, let us calculate the volume in cm³.

As, 1L = 1000cm³

So, 11 L vessel has volume 11000cm³.

Again, we know,the formula of volume of a cylinder is given as Пr²h

So, Пr²h = 11000

where, h is the height of the cylinder = 35cm.

So, (22/7)*r²*35 = 11000                 [Taking П = 22/7]

So, 110r² = 11000

r² = 11000/110 = 100

So, r = sqrt(100) = 10                     [Length cant be negative so -10 ignored]

Diameter = 2r = 20cm
