Gɪᴠᴇɴ :-

  • ABCD is a Square of side = 20cm.
  • L, O, N, M are Mid - Points of sides.

Tᴏ Fɪɴᴅ :-

  • The area of the square PQRS (in cm) interior to ABCD ?

Fᴏʀᴍᴜʟᴀ ᴜsᴇᴅ :-

  • From image , we can conclude That, when , A Square or Parallelogram is made inside Through Mid - Points , Than , Area of insides Square will be :- (Area of Outside Square / 5)
  • Area of Square = (Side)² .

Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

→ Side of Square ABCD = 20cm.

→ Area of Square ABCD = (20)² = 400cm².

Hence, From Above Told Formula :-

Area of Square PQRS = (Area of Square ABCD) / 5

→ Area of Square PQRS = (400) / 5

→ Area of Square PQRS = 80cm². (Ans.) (Option B).

Therefore, Area of Square PQRS will be 80cm².
