Find the length of the trench 1 man can dig in a day:

11 men = 6 3/4 m long  (Given)

1 man =  6 3/4  ÷ 11

1 man = 28/4 x 1/11

1 man = 27/44 m long

Find the number of men needed to dig 27 m long trench:

27/44 m = 1 man

1/44 m = 1 ÷ 27 = 1/27 men

44/44 m = 1/27 x 44 = 44/27 men

27 m = 44/27 x 27 = 44 men

Answer: 44 men is needed to dig 27 m long trench
