Let gauri's age = x

Rama's age = 6x

Jaya's age = 2×6x = 12x

After 5 years,

Gauri's age = x+5

Rama's age = 6x+5

Jaya's age = 12x +5

x +5+6x+5+12x+5 = 110

19x +15 = 110

19x = 110 - 15

19x = 95

x = 95/19

x = 5

Gauri's age = 5

Rama's age = 6×5 = 30

Jaya's age = 12×5 = 60

Hope this will help....

Given :-

The sum of the ages = 110

To find :-

The present age of each = ?

Solution :-

Let the age of

Gauri = x

Rama = 6x

Jaya = 12x

After 5 years,

Their ages will be :-

Gauri's age = x + 5

Rama's age = 6x + 5

Jaya's age = 12x + 5

According to the ques,

The sum of their ages = 110

So,

x + 5 + 6x + 5 + 12x + 5 = 110

19x + 15 = 110

19x = 110 - 15

19x = 95

x =  \dfrac{95}{19}

x = 5

The value of x = 5

Their ages :-

Gauri's age = x = 5 years

Rama's age = 6x = 6 × 5 = 30 years

Jaya's age = 12x = 12 × 5 = 60 years
