11. State whether the following graphs represent a function. Give reason for your answer.

Except 3rd and 4th...all graphs represent a function
For each value of domain there should exist a unique range...only then it will be called a function...this is contradicted in 3rd and 4th and hence they are not a function.

If we draw any vertical line that

then the graph does not represent

shows the functions.

figure ( iii ) , the curve intersecting

vertical line drawn parallel to

y- axis more than once .

it is not a function.

similarly ,

iv ) figure is not a function.
