Given,

Two algebraic expressions 4xy + 6yz - 8zx and 3xy - 4yz - 3zx.

To find,

Subtract: 4xy + 6yz - 8zx from 3xy - 4yz - 3zx.

Solution,

Mathematically, the given questions can be represented as-

(3xy - 4yz - 3zx)-(4xy + 6yz - 8zx)

Since there is a negative sign ahead of the bracket  (4xy + 6yz - 8zx) hence the sign of all the terms would be changed.

We would get,

3xy - 4yz - 3zx-4xy - 6yz + 8zx)

We would now subtract like terms from their respective like terms.

⇒   (3xy-4xy) -4yz-6yz -3zx+8zx

⇒ -xy -10yz+5zx

Hence, on subtracting 4xy + 6yz - 8zx from 3xy - 4yz - 3zx we get, -xy -10yz+5zx.
