11. The acceleration due to gravity on a planet is
1.96 m/s2. If it is safe to jump from a height of
3 m on the earth, the corresponding height on the
planet will be
(1) 3 m
(2) 6 m
(3) 9 m
(4) 15 m

Here my doubt is why can't answer be 2) 6m as 9.8/1.96=2.

In all materials it is mentioned that answer is 4) 15m.
Can anyone clarify my doubt? Please....

let the initial velocity, u =0

the final velocity will v

acceleration due to gravity,g=9.8m/s²

the vertical distance=3m

v²- u²=2gs

v²-0=2×9.8×3

= 7.7m/s

then, 58.8/(2×1.96)

=58.8/3.92

= 15 m
