Given-

  • Area of rectangular plot = 1728
  • Breadth = let x , so
  • Length = 3x

To Find-

  • Length , Breadth &
  • Perimeter of the rectangular plot

Formula to be use-

  • Area of rectangle= (length*breadth)
  • Perimeter of rectangle= 2(length+breadth)

Step-by-step solution-

area = (length \times breadth) \\   1728 = (3x \times x) \\   1728 = 3 {x}^{2}  \\  \frac{1728}{3}  =  {x}^{2}  \\   576 =  {x}^{2}  \\  {576}^{2}  = x \\ 24 = x

Now , x = 24 means

Breadth = 24 m

Length = 3x = 3*24

= 72 m

perimeter = 2(length + breadth) \\ perimeter = 2(72 + 24) \\ perimeter = 2 \times 96 \\ perimeter = 192 \: m

hence, perimeter is 192 m
