Area of the given quadrilateral=1/2(sum of altitude s)x corresponding diagonals

20=1/2(1+1.5)xBD

1/2x2.5xBD=20cm²

BD =40/2.5=16cm

Answer:

16 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

as we know the formula to calculate area of quadrilateral is 1/2*( sum of altitude)*corresponding diagonals

hence,

20=1/2*(1+1 .5)*BD

20=1/2*2.5*BD

20*2/2.5=BD

40/2.5=BD

16=BD
