Let speed of car-A = x km/hr and speed of another car-B = (x+7) km/hr

 

after 2 hours, distance traveled by car-A = 2x km

after 2 hours, distance traveled by car-B = 2(x+7) = (2x+14)  km

 

distance between the two cars after  2 hour = 300 -2x -(2x+14) = 34 km  .........(1)

 

Eqn.(1) is written as ;  4x = 252    or   x = 63 km/hr
