AnswEr:-

Your Answer Is 72.5 Kilometers.

ExplanaTion:-

Given:-

  • Distance between the school and the house of Neeta = 1km 450m = 1450m.

  • Every day she walks both the way.

  • School is open for 25days in a month.

To Find:-

  • The total distance covered by Neeta in one month (i.e. 25 days as school is open for 25 days in a month).

So Here,

It is given that everyday Neeta walks both the way, this means she used to cover 1450 meters two times a day.

Therefore Distance covered by Neeta in one day,

\\ \tt = 2 \times 1450 \: meters. \\ \\ \tt = 2900 \: meters.\\

So the distance covered by Neeta in 25 days,

\\ \tt = 25 \times 2900 \: meters. \\ \\ \tt = 72500 \: meters. \\ \\ \tt = \dfrac{725\cancel{00}}{10\cancel{00}} kilometers. \\ \\ \tt = 72.5 \: kilometers.\\

\tt\therefore The distance covered by Neeta in one month is 72.5 kilometers.
