square is 20 cm. Find (a) the difference between the perimeters of the given rectangle and square. (b) the

Answer:

perimeter of rectangle= 2(lenght+breadth)

=2x42

=84 cm

perimter of sq. 4xside

=4x20

=80 cm

diffrence =(84-80)=4

area of rrectangle= lenght x breadth

=24 x 18

=432 cm sq.

area of sq.= side x side

= 20x20

= 400 cm sq.

diffrence= (432-400)=32 cm
